PITTSBURGH — Pitt is entering a key stretch of the summer with an important scrimmage looming on Sunday.
“We got a scrimmage on Sunday, so we’re out in shells today, spiders tomorrow and I just kind of gave the guys an overview with where we are after 14,” Pat Narduzzi said before practice. “I’m happy with where we are as a football team. I think we’ve become a little tougher, overall, I see less injuries, nagging injuries not holding guys out of practice.”
There are position battles across the roster, offensively and defensively, and the scrimmage will shed some light on who will be starting the season against Kent State on Aug. 31.
