UPDATE, 7 AM: Former Pitt wide receiver Bub Means was selected by the New Orleans Saints in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, and he’s trying to show the coaching staff he’s ready for the active roster.
Means — a 6-foot-2, 215-pound wideout from Lovejoy, Ga. — caught two passes in the Saints’ most recent preseason game. And one of those catches converted a first down on 4th-and-5 in the first quarter.
