We've got a couple of updates for the Pittsburgh High School Basketball Recruiting Board on Pittsburgh Sports Now. 

We’ve got a couple of updates for the Pittsburgh High School Basketball Recruiting Board on Pittsburgh Sports Now. 

On Monday, a WPIAL prospect, who plays football and basketball, earned his first basketball offer, coming from a Division Two program. That player was Tori Grooms, a 6-foot guard out of Uniontown Area High School. Grooms added an offer from West Virginia Wesleyan.

 

Chartiers Valley 2026 guard Danny Slizik was invited to Waynesburg University’s Elite Camp, he announced on Twitter. The 6-foot-1 guard played for Steeltown over the summer. He also attended West Liberty’s Elite Camp recently.

Pittsburgh High School Basketball Recruiting Board

The Pittsburgh area has three committed players heading to division one programs at the moment: Tyler Robbins (Miami OH), Courtney Wallace (Yale), and Ama Tening Sow (UT Martin). Josh Pratt out of Aliquippa and RJ Sledge of Imani Christian are leading the area in offers out of all uncommitted players. Multi-sport athletes Amere Brown, Scoop Smith as well as Moon basketball prospect Mikey Santicola and Allderdice’s Trey Schachter all have division one offers on the hoops side.

2026 guard Enzo Khalil holds an offer from Slippery Rock, while Grooms holds an offer from D2 West Virginia Wesleyan. Jayden Davis, also out of Chartiers Valley, holds an offer from Slippery Rock and has division one and division two interest coming in.
