Pitt men’s soccer knocks off No. 16 Georgetown, 2-0, in season opener

UPDATE, 8 AM: Four-star prospect Matt Sieg scheduled a game-day visit to Penn State.

The Fort Cherry football star will visit West Virginia Vs. Penn State for week one, and then Penn State Vs. Bowling Green for week two. He will then attend the Backyard Brawl at Pitt week three.

UPDATE, 7 AM: Pitt holds a cornhole tournament every year, just before the season kicks off, and this year’s winners were revealed.

Dylan Bennett and Caden Smith, a walk-on linebacker and walk-on wide receiver, brought home the win this year. It was a hard-fought victory for the pair in the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex this week.
