After the release, I put out a column explaining my thoughts on the schedule.
“Overall, I think this is a challenging schedule for the Panthers. Looking around the ACC, so far, Duke, Louisville, Virginia, and North Carolina’s schedules are really the only ones to stand out in terms of consistent, elite challenges. I’d say that those schedules are significantly more loaded than Pitt’s (on paper). However, this slate rolled out by Capel should have Pitt in nice position to 1. win enough games early, 2. be challenged early, and 3. potentially earn some huge Q1 wins on the road.”
