Duquesne basketball was scheduled to host Dezmon Briscoe for an official visit this past weekend. Now, they have agreed to change the date.

Duquesne was scheduled to host Dezmon Briscoe, a four-star prospect with the Dukes in his top-schools list, for an official visit this past weekend.

The visit did not end up happening, as the Dukes and Briscoe agreed to move the date back. No need to worry Duquesne fans, as Briscoe told Pittsburgh Sports Now that he will be taking the official visit to Duquesne from Sept. 13-15.

Briscoe is a four-star forward prospect in the class of 2025 out of Crispus Attucks High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. The 6-foot-8 big is ranked as the No. 118 prospect in America by 247 Sports’ Composite Rankings, and the No. 7 prospect in the state of Indiana.

In July, he released his top-schools list, which included Duquesne. Briscoe’s list wasn’t any ordinary top-six list. The Dukes were the only mid-major level team to make the list. Along with DePaul, Xavier, Cincinnati, Iowa, and Butler, Duquesne made the cut.

Shortly after Briscoe released his top list, he joined PSN on The Pittsburgh Basketball Show to break down why he included the Dukes in his list.

The Pittsburgh Basketball Show is a YouTube show/podcast that covers Pitt, Duquesne, and Robert Morris basketball along with WPIAL and City League hoops in the Pittsburgh area.

PSN plans to bring coaches, players, fans, media members, and more onto the show, providing in-depth interviews to tell the complete story of the city’s basketball scene.

This show will focus on all things Pittsburgh basketball, at the high-school, college, and pro levels. While we will mainly focus on men’s basketball, we plan to have women’s basketball guests on the show and also shine light on the WBB scene in the city.
