As we get closer to the upcoming season, I wanted to look back at Grant’s highlights — especially as a shot creator. Check out two minutes of Grant’s isolation highlights.
Grant started his career with Miami (Ohio), where he spent three seasons from 2019-22. His best season came in 2021-22, where he averaged 17.5 points per game, 4.1 assists per game and made 70 3-pointers to lead the team in all three categories. He also shot 42.3% from the floor, 85.3% from the foul line, averaged 4.7 rebounds per game, while playing an average of 33.1 minutes per contest. Grant would receive All-MAC Honorable Mention honors for his efforts that season.
He transferred to Duquesne prior to the 2022-23 season. Grant would excel in his first season, starting all 33 games and leading the team with 15.5 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. He hit 94 3-pointers and 87.3% of his shots from the foul line. His play in year one led Duquesne to a 20-13 record, 9-7 in the Atlantic-10 and an appearance in the CBI, as well as him earning A-10 All-Second Team honors.Â
Grant finished his collegiate career with 2,241 points, with 1,070 coming in just two seasons at Duquesne and 1,171 coming at Miami (OH) in the first three years of his career.
