One of the seven players with Pitt in his top-school list has added another visit to his schedule for this fall.
According to On3 Sports’ Joe Tipton, 2025 wing prospect Davion Hannah out of Wisconsin has scheduled an official visit to Missouri for this upcoming weekend.
Back in July, Hannah — a 6-foot-6 shooting guard out of Link Academy in Branson, Mo. — narrowed his list down to nine schools, according to Tipton. Pitt will battle for the Hannah sweepstakes against Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Louisville, NC State, Cincinnati and Xavier.
Hannah cut his list days after it was reported that he is will take an official visit to Pitt on Oct. 19.
A native of Milwaukee, Wis., Hannah recently took an official visit to Alabama, and originally had an official visit to Louisville planned for this weekend. However, he is now in line to visit Missouri, a school that did not even make his top-nine list.
In addition to this trip to Columbia, he is scheduled to visit Wisconsin (Sept. 14), Ohio State (Sept. 20), Michigan State (Sept. 27), NC State (Oct. 5) and Cincinnati (Oct. 12) before coming to Pitt.
Regarding a decision timeline, Hannah told On3 in July that “there is no exact timeframe now, but I’m probably looking to commit during the late period, around February, but you never know.”
The On3 Industry rankings list Hannah as the No. 30 overall recruit in the Class of 2025 and the No. 2 combo guard.
Pitt has hosted 2025 Pittsburgh natives Amari Evans and Meleek Thomas on official visits, along with four-star Derek Dixon, four-star Isaiah Denis, and three star Omari Witherspoon. The other two players, in addition to those five, that have Pitt in their top lists are Nikola Bundalo and Hannah.
