Former WPIAL coach and current Pepperdine assistant coach Jeremy Grubbs was busy recruiting in the Steel City this past week.

Grubbs extended several offers, including two to current WPIAL players.

First to receive an offer was class-of-2027 prospect Kieshaun Demus, a class-of-2027 prospect out of Imani Christian. He formerly played for North Hills. Demus is a 6-foot-3 guard.

Up next was a class-of-2026 guard out of Pine Richland. Grant Spacciapolli received an offer from Pepperdine as well, becoming the eighth current uncommitted WPIAL player to hold a Division One offer.

Grubbs has spent time coaching at numerous collegiate programs, including La Roche, Coker, Marshall, and others. Grubbs, a longtime high school and NCAA coach, was in Pittsburgh this past week on behalf of his new program. Grubbs joined the Pepperdine staff as an assistant coach in 2024.

We have currently tracked 13 uncommitted players in the area with Division One or Two offers. Many of these players have been offered by programs across numerous levels. Tyler Robbins, Upper St. Clair’s big man, is committed to Miami (OH) out of the MAC. Courtney Wallace, out of Neighborhood Academy, is committed to Yale in the Ivy League. Ama Tening Sow is committed to UT Martin.

Check out the full recruiting board below, and as always, reach out to us here on Twitter/X if we are missing any players or schools on the list. We want to cover every player that is receiving college interest in the area.
