UPDATE, 7 AM: SirVocea Dennis played in 13 games for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last season, mainly as a special teamer. But he racked up 13 tackles (11 solo) last season. He’s off to a much faster start in his sophomore season.
Dennis was a rocket for the Buccaneers in a win against the Washington Commanders, racking up seven tackles (five solo), a tackle for loss, a sack and a quarterback hit.
Fellow former Pitt star Jordan Whitehead led the Bucs with eight tackles (four solo), while Calijah Kancey missed the season opener with a calf injury.
