PITTSBURGH — Pitt football head coach Pat Narduzzi met with the media one final time on Thursday to preview the 107th edition of the Backyard Brawl.

Narduzzi noted his team’s preparation throughout the week and how Pitt is looking to erase the bad taste that was left in their mouth from a season ago.

The tenth-year head coach also discussed how Eli Holstein has handled himself over the first two games, along with how the offense will matchup against the Mountaineers.

West Virginia quarterback Garrett Greene and running back Jahiem White and CJ Donaldson will bring a dangerous ground attack to Acrisure Stadium on Saturday. Narduzzi emphasized the importance of stopping the run — an area that WVU has exposed the previous two Brawls.

Watch below for more of Pat Narduzzi:

From another sports avenue, Narduzzi proposes delaying the game until Thanksgiving weekend. If we are going to play them (and I curse Scott Barnes for scheduling it) then the last game of the season is the best option.
The year after Kenny Pickett’s, we still had a team good enough to challenge for the ACC Championship. Enter WV, so many starters were injured that the season became a challenge to complete.Clemson doesn’t play in-state rival Suth Carolina until the last game of the season. Neither should we.
