PITTSBURGH — It’s a warm, sunny day on the North Shore, and it just feels like a perfect day for the Backyard Brawl.
Pitt and West Virginia aren’t kicking off for a few hours, a 3:30 p.m. kick that will likely be a few minutes later than anticipated, but that hasn’t stopped any of the festivities.
Pitt and West Virginia fans are out in full force, tailgating in the lots around the North Shore and hanging out at the local bars. The Panther Pitt is queued up waiting to get inside the stadium.
It’s almost time for the Backyard Brawl on the North Shore.
