PITTSBURGH — Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi was in a jovial mood when he entered the press conference room following his team’s 38-34 win over West Virginia in the Backyard Brawl.

Narduzzi’s group trailed by 10 points with less than five minutes to go. However, for the second-straight week, the Panthers showed determination and resiliency to complete the comeback.

Following the game, Narduzzi detailed the victory against the Mountaineers and how the offense pulled it off behind the play of quarterback Eli Holstein.

The tenth-year head coach also highlighted the defensive effort it took to slow down the Mountaineers and quarterback Garrett Greene to set up the win.
