Duquesne hosted Ware for an official visit back in early August. He is now deciding between the Dukes, Rutgers, and Wake Forest.

Ware is a 6-foot-9, 235-pound forward out of 1 of 1 Academy in Charlotte, North Carolina. Ware ranks as a four-star prospect on On3, and a three star on 247 Sports and ESPN. On3 lists Ware as the No. 105 prospect in the class of 2025.

On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine gives Rutgers a 97.6% chance to land Ware, and Wake Forest a 1.5% chance to earn the commitment.

Duquesne recently landed its first commitment of the 2025 class from Arness Lawson, a guard out of Ohio.

Lawson received an offer from the Dukes back on May 6, 2024, and on Aug. 19, he included Duquesne in his top-four list along with Tulane, Northern Kentucky, and Utah State.

Playing for All-Ohio Red this summer on the Nike EYBL circuit, Lawson shined in his role. He ranked No. 10 at the highest level of AAU ball on the circuit in terms of offensive efficiency among players with at least 16 possessions per game. Joined by Cam Boozer, AJ Dybantsa, and other five-star prospects on the list, Lawson made a great impression averaging 0.98 points per possession, per Synergy.
