**This morning, the Pitt staff extended an offer to 2026 defensive end Freddie Wilson from Spruce Creek High School in Port Orange, Florida. Wilson (6’4″, 265) also holds an offer from Miami, Fla. Wilson received the offer from head coach Pat Narduzzi.

**Now that it’s a bye week, the Pitt staff is out recruiting for the next few days. This morning, they extended an offer to 2027 4-star offensive lineman Kyson Mallard from Westover High School in Albany, Georgia. Mallard is teammates with Pitt 2025 3-star offensive tackle commit Torian Chester. This offer was extended by Pitt offensive line coach Jeremy Darveau.

Update (9:41 AM)-
**It’s Monday which means that Brett McMurphy comes out with his weekly college football bowl projections. Last week, McMurphy had Pitt playing in the Mayo Bowl in Charlotte, taking on Michigan State. Following their win and a 4-0 start, McMurphy has Pitt in a more attractive game.

Update (8:00 AM)-
**Congratulations to Seton-LaSalle sophomore athlete Richard Littlejohn. On Sunday, he received an offer from Miami, Ohio, which was his first D-1 offer. Littlejohn plays both wide receiver and cornerback for Seton-LaSalle.

Update (7:45 AM)-
**UCLA football doesn’t do a ton of recruiting in the WPIAL, but they are interested in a WPIAL standout. On Sunday, the Bruins extended an offer to 2027 defensive back Larry Moon III from Aliquippa High School. On Saturday, Moon received an offer from Virginia Tech and holds others from programs such as Pitt, Penn State, Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Michigan, Miami, Ole Miss, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon, Tennessee, USC and West Virginia.
