WATCH: Pitt Introduces New Director of Athletics Allen Greene

PITTSBURGH — Pitt rang in the new era of athletics at the university Wednesday morning, officially introducing new Director of Athletics Allen Greene at the Petersen Events Center.

Chancellor Joan Gabel, Board of Trustees Chairperson John Verbanac and Greene himself all spoke to the media, coaches, the University of Tennessee athletic staff in town for the introduction and more.

Following the introduction, Greene and men’s basketball coach Jeff Capel (who was on the search committee) answered a few more questions from the media.
