PITTSBURGH — Pitt football head coach Pat Narduzzi detailed his team’s 41-13 statement win over Syracuse Thursday night with the media at Acrisure Stadium.
The Panthers are now 7-0 overall and 3-0 in ACC play as they continue to defy preseason expectations following a 3-9 season a year ago.
Narduzzi discussed the five Pitt interceptions in a game for the first time since 2008 and the returns by Kyle Louis, Rasheem Biles and Braylan Lovelace.
He further elaborated on the Panthers’ defensive performance against one of the top quarterbacks in the nation entering the game in Kyle McCord and how Pitt prepared for the senior signal caller.
Narduzzi also shed light on some injury news regarding quarterback Eli Holstein and left tackle Branson Taylor.

Great win! FINALLY have speed at LBs. Pitt plays 3 LBs all the time, so Narduzzi has recruited smaller, faster LBs, and it has paid off.
7-0!
H2P!!!
