Preseason Rankings for All Three Pittsburgh Basketball Teams

The season has finally arrived.

I am writing this on Nov. 4 — the morning of the first game of the season. I’ll have this post bookmarked to reference throughout the season, too. The goal here is to find any and all predictions from national media outlets on the three local teams — Pitt, Duquesne, and Robert Morris — so that we can compare the preseason outside expectations to the end results.

Pitt – picked No. 40 overall, no. 6 in ACC.

Pitt – picked as second-to-last team in the field, playing in the first four as an 11 seed. Lunardi predicted that Pitt will be the sixth out of six ACC teams to make the tournament.
