Previewing Duquesne’s Highly-Anticipated Rematch with Princeton

Duquesne and Princeton basketball schedules are working on an agreement to play at CURE Insurance Arena in Trenton, New Jersey on Nov. 8.

Last year, Duquesne lost to Princeton at the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse, 70-67, in an intense game.

Now, the Dukes are looking for revenge. On Friday night, they’ll play against the Tigers once again, this time in Trenton, New Jersey at 8:30 p.m. est.

Henderson has led the Tigers to three-straight seasons with less than ten losses.

PRINCETON PREVIEW

Xaivian Lee is the name to know. Lee, the Tigers’ point guard, returns after averaging 17/5/3 last year. One of the best guards in mid-major hoops. In addition, Blake Peters and Caden Pierce also return. The reigning Ivy League Player of the Year, Pierce, averaged 16/9/3 last season.

In the Tigers’ opener, Lee went for 27 points and six assists, while Pierce added 18 and six assists. Jacob Huggins and Dalen Davis also scored in double figures for the team.

METRICS

Princeton is ranked No. 82 in KenPom’s preseason rankings, while Duquesne is ranked No. 149.

GAME TIME

Duquesne Vs. Princeton will start at 8:30 p.m. EST on ACC Network Extra.
