PITTSBURGH — Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi took to the podium at Acrisure Stadium late Saturday evening to talk about his team’s loss to Virginia, 24-19.
The 18th-ranked Pitt Panthers, for the second-consecutive week, seemed ill-prepared for a key matchup, with this one coming in response to a brutal loss at SMU.
Narduzzi spoke on the errors, including penalties and dropped passes, along with the officiating error on the fourth-down play that was replayed after it was deemed the officials were not in position.
The tenth-year head coach also discussed the lack of focus surrounding the team and its inability to take care of an inferior opponent.
