In the most recent update of the ESPN Junior 300, one of the fastest-rising recruits in the Class of 2026, Reston Lehman, received four-star status in the rankings.
Reston Lehman — a 6-foot-3, 230-pound prospect from Peters Township High School in McMurray, Pa. — now holds a four-star rating from ESPN and ranks as the 168th player in the cycle. He also checks in at No. 14 at the outside linebacker position and No. 7 in the state of Pennsylvania.

“It’s unbelievable,” Lehman told Pittsburgh Sports Now after receiving the four-star rating. “It’s really a blessing showing that all my hard work is paying off and people are starting to realize. Is an amazing feeling I’m really just honored it’s truly a blessing.”
Lehman is just one of two WPIAL products on the updated list, joining Fort Cherry four-star safety Matt Sieg. ESPN ranks the Penn State commit No. 155 in the class and the sixth-best player in the state.
Along with his ESPN rating, On3 lists Lehman as a three-star prospect and the 55th-ranked linebacker in the cycle.
The recruitment process for Lehman has skyrocketed since the start of his junior season, picking up offers from Pitt, Penn State, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Minnesota, Boston College, Maryland and Eastern Michigan.
As expected, the hometown program in Pitt has been a major player in the recruitment of Lehman. He has built a strong relationship with the coaching staff and has become a frequent visitor at Acrisure Stadium this season.
Most recently, Lehman was in attendance to watch Pitt take on Virginia as he continued to develop his connection with the staff.
“The Pitt visit was phenomenal,” he said. “I had a conversation with Coach Narduzzi when the players were walking into the facilities and he also met my father, my stepmom and my physical trainer. Besides that, they really treated me great with tours and meeting new people.”
Reston Lehman further told PSN that he will take a gameday visit to Maryland this Saturday, along with a trip to Indiana on Nov. 30.
While he plans his future visits, Lehman will focus on his team’s Class 5A semifinal matchup with section rival Upper St. Clair this coming Friday. His Peters Township squad is coming off a 42-13 quarterfinal win over Penn-Trafford.
