Twitter Reaction: Pitt’s Offensive Struggles and Losing Continues

Published

on

Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi.

Well, if there was ever a Pitt way to lose, today was it.

Just when Pitt looked as though they were going to pull off an improbable win, they completely went in the tank.

After taking a 20-17 lead with 1:34 and stopping Clemson the entire second half, Pitt allowed Clemson to march down the field in 3 plays to score the game-winning touchdown.

After the way Pitt completely stopped the Tigers offense, you wouldn’t think that was possible, but it certainly was.

The loss drops Pitt’s record to 7-3 and extends their losing streak to three games.

Pitt will end the season with two games on the road, at Louisville and at Boston College.

Felt like a wooden roller coaster ride at Kennywood.
Yarnell is a tough dude.
Felt like Matt Canada preSnap shift excessiveness trying to Read defense, fooled ourselves more times doing it.

The pre snap confusion on offense is unacceptable and so are the penalties and dropped passes. If they catch the ball Yarnell has well over 400 yards passing. Threw for 350. Bell got the credit when things were going well, now he needs to be held accountable for this.

I’m not there in the locker room but had a clear view of the sideline and this whole “80% of my time is spent on defense “ rhetoric by Narduzzi is bs. He never once during the 3 false starts in a row coupled with pre snap confusion all day, never got involved, just either stood there or knelt on a knee watching. Saban would often have no problem chewing out his coordinators for a lot less than that. He needs to take charge of EVERYTHING and stop delegating to a 31 year old coordinator in his first year in… Read more »

How can they possibly not move on from the O Line coach? They fired the one they had and got a down grade.

In his defense the caliber of talent is greatly reduced than it was 2 or 3 years ago. They better find some serious NIL money to throw at the tackle position b/c they don’t have a P4 level OT on this roster.
