PITTSBURGH — Pitt football head coach Pat Narduzzi met with the media on Thursday afternoon one final time before the Panthers embark on its penultimate game in Louisville, Ky. against the Cardinals.
The Panthers enter the gam 7-3 and looking to end a three-game losing streak, while the Cardinals sit 6-4 after dropping its most recent game to Stanford, 38-35.
Narduzzi noted that quarterback Eli Holstein is cleared to play, however, he did not appoint a starter for the Louisville game.
The tenth-year head coach fielded a handful of questions that focused on the offense’s production and how it can improve, along with the play of the offensive line.
He also spoke on what challenges the Cardinals present with quarterback Tyler Shough and the type of defense the Panthers will face.
Narduzzi also spent a few minutes discussing the looming National Signing Day on Dec. 4 and how it’s much earlier than in years past.
