PITTSBURGH — Pitt running back coach Lindsey Lamar and linebacker coach Ryan Manalac and spoke with the media on Tuesday about the Panthers’ performance against Louisville and the upcoming season finale at Boston College.
Manalac talked about the defensive effort at Louisville and some of the mistakes that occurred. He also touched on his unit’s progression and how players have filled in with a season-ending injury to Jordan Bass.
Lamar discussed how his unit has handled its own adversity with Rodney Hammond Jr. being limited, along with the season-ending injury to Daniel Carter.
He touched on the play of Desmond Reid, Juelz Goff and the growth of Derrick Davis Jr. at running back.
