GALLERY: Avonworth Wins Class 3A WPIAL Football Title
PITTSBURGH — The fifth-seeded Avonworth Antelopes clinched its third WPIAL title in program history after shutting out Central Valley 17-0.
The title comes after back-to-back Class 3A championship losses at Acrisure Stadium the previous two seasons. Senior running back Nico Neal played an instrumental role in winning the title with 102 yards and two touchdowns.
