Early National Signing Day is just a few days away, giving recruits in the class of 2025 the chance to officially put pen to paper, and there’s a Pitt recruit who is on flip watch.

Last week, Pitt received some bad but not unexpected news when 4-star defensive back Elijah Dotson flipped his commitment from Pitt to the hometown Michigan Wolverines.

That was not surprising considering Dotson’s ties to Michigan along with the fact that he publicly displayed interest in them while still being committed to Pitt.

Could Pitt be losing another one of their highly rated players?

It’s not ideal for commits to take official visits just days before NSD, but it doesn’t always spell the end — looking at Francis Brewu visiting Michigan State last December. But it certainly bears watching.
