Fisher discussed what it meant to receive the top seed and to have the opportunity to play the first four rounds at the Pete this year. Earlier this season, the Panthers broke the program’s attendance record with 11,800 spectators in a 3-0 win over Penn State.
Seven Pitt players earned All-ACC honors, including Olivia Babcock, who took home Player of the Year honors and Fisher who was named the Coach of the Year after posting a 29-1 overall record and 19-1 mark in ACC player. Rachel Fairbanks, Torrey Stafford and Bre Kelley also earned First-Team All-ACC accolades.
Fisher spoke on the play of those individuals and what the honors mean to him and the rest of the program.
He also touched on how the team in preparing for Morehead State, along with their second-round opponent between either Oklahoma or UTEP.
