PITTSBURGH — The Pitt football offensive coaches spoke with the media on Wednesday afternoon to talk about the 12 offensive prospects that signed with the Panthers in the Class of 2025 on the early National Signing Day.
Offensive line coach Jeremy Darveau detailed the four offensive linemen that signed with Pitt, including Thomas Jefferson product Shep Turk, Torian Chester out of Georgia, Akram Elnagmi from Loughborough, UK and Jordan Fields from Houston, Texas.

Tight ends coach Jacob Bronowski shed some light on the lone tight end signee of the class in 6-4, 200-pound prospect Max Hunt from Plant High School in Tampa, Fla.
Running backs coach Lindsey Lamar spoke on the three running backs that the Panthers landed with Ja’Kyrian Turner and Synkwan Smith, along with Jaylin Brown who recently decommitted from Louisville and became a late addition for Pitt.
JJ Laster, Pitt’s wide receiver coach, discussed the receiver group with Bryce Yates from Virginia, Tony Kinsler out of Spruce Creek High School in Fla. and that surprise addition of Cam Sapp, who flipped from FAU.
Kade Bell, the Pitt offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, capped off the day by speaking on the quarterback commit in Mason Heintschel, who hails from Oregon, Ohio and attends Clay High School.
