The Robert Morris Athletic Hall of Fame was established in 1991 to honor former student-athletes that have provided an “outstanding contribution” to the university’s athletics department. On Monday, Robert Morris University announced its Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2024.

The five-person class is made up of Toba Bolaji, Robb Butler, Arden Fisher, Brittany Howard and Zac Lynch. The inductees will be officially honored with a ceremony at the UPMC Events Center on Jan. 25, 2025.

Bolaji was the starting goalkeeper for the Colonials’ soccer team from 2009 to 2012. He set program records including most shutouts (17) and best goals against average (1.17).

Butler, a transfer from Pitt, played on the Colonials’ football team for two seasons, in 2002 and in 2003. Butler started his Colonials career as a wide receiver and led the team in receiving in 2002 before making a switch to safety which is where he played in 2003. As a safety, Butler earned NCAA All-American honors and eventually signed with the San Diego Chargers.

Fisher led the volleyball team to an NEC championship and an NCAA Tournament berth in 2015. She finished her career ranked inside of the Colonials’ top-10 for career kills (1,256) and digs (1,852). Additionally, Fisher was just the third Robert Morris student-athlete to ever receive All-NEC honors in each of her four years.

Howard, who played in 138 career games for the Colonials’ hockey team, finished her career as the program’s all-time leading scorer with 181 points. She racked up a total of 79 goals and 102 assists while leading the Colonials to three 20-win seasons including their first ever NCAA Tournament appearance in 2017.

Lynch, a player for the men’s hockey team from 2012 to 2016, led the school to five total championships. Lynch racked up the individual accolades as well as he finished his career as the Colonials all-time leader in points (156), career short-handed goals (14), points in a season (55) and short-handed goals in a season (8) while also winning the 2016 Atlantic Hockey Player of the Year.

The 2024 Class marks the 32nd overall class to be inducted into the Robert Morris Athletic Hall of Fame which now stands at 156 individual members, not including the historic team’s honored by the institution.
