PSN was in touch this morning with Simmons as he told us that he was currently at the airport enroute to Pittsburgh.

The 6’6″, 330-pound offensive tackle was the first transfer offensive lineman that Pitt offered this offseason. In fact, Pitt was the first Power Four program to extend him an offer. Since then, Simmons has received offers from Liberty, Houston, Toledo, NC State, Texas Tech, South Florida, Duke, East Carolina, California, Michigan State, Texas Tech, Central Florida, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Kansas State, Virginia, Northwestern, Wake Forest, Florida State, Kentucky and Oklahoma.

Pitt won’t be the first visit for Simmons as he just completed one at Texas Tech. Following his two-day stay at Pitt, Simmons has a visit scheduled to Georgia Tech.

Although more are no doubt in the works or have been scheduled already, here are the transfer official visits that PSN has confirmed:

-Charlotte kicker Stephen Rusnak (December 13-15th).

-Michigan State wide receiver Jaron Glover (December 13-14)

-Miami, Ohio wide receiver Javon Tracy (December 16th)
