The college basketball world was rocked on Wednesday night as Diego Pavia, a Vanderbilt football player, was granted an injunction by the courts in Tennessee, meaning he can pursue an additional year of college eligibility.

So how does this relate to hoops? Listen below.

Pavia sued the NCAA earlier this fall due to his eligibility running out. The reason behind his eligibility running out was his previous experience playing junior college (JUCO) football. However, now, it appears that junior college seasons may not affect players’ eligibility.
