Pitt seemed to take offense to the move from Ewin, and frustration boiled over in the handshake line against Florida State.

On Wednesday night, Pitt lost to Florida State, 82-70, after a brutal first-half performance combined with timely FSU free throws at the end that clinched the victory.

After not making a field goal from the 5:01 mark down to the 0:25 mark of the game, the Seminoles threw down two dunks in the final 25 seconds, including a dunk from Malique Ewin at the buzzer. Pitt seemed to take offense to the move from Ewin, and frustration boiled over in the handshake line. Check out the video of the altercation below.

The Panthers have lost three-straight games, falling to Duke, then Louisville, then Florida State. The Duke and FSU losses are of the Quad-1 variety, while the Louisville loss is a Q2 loss.

The Panthers fell to the Seminoles, 82-70, after turning the ball over 17 times and shooting just 38% from the field. Pitt scored 20 points off of turnovers, and forced the Seminoles to shoot just 32% from three-point range. However, Pitt’s slow offensive start, combined with Florida State’s late free-throw shooting success, powered the win for FSU.

Jaland Lowe finished with 22 points for Pitt, while Jorge Diaz Graham added 17 points, a career-best. Diaz Graham brought the Panthers back into the game, hitting four of his five three-point attempts. Cam Corhen grabbed nine rebounds in the loss, while Ishmael Leggett grabbed six and dished out four assists. Lowe turned the ball over eight times in the loss.
