**Pitt’s latest offer goes to a big-time prospect in Virginia. 2026 4-star wide receiver Connor Salmin from Woodgrove High School in Purcellville, Virginia receives an offer from the Panthers. Salmin (6’1″, 185-pounds) is rated by Rivals as the No. 5 junior recruit in Virginia and one of the Top 200 recruits in the Class of 2026. Along with Pitt, Salmin holds offers from Arkansas, Clemson, Duke, Florida State, Georgia, Indiana, LSU, Maryland, North Carolina, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, Rutgers, Stanford, Syracuse, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Virgina, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and West Virginia. In 10 games last season, Salmin had 53 catches for 1,017 yards and 16 touchdowns.

**A second D-1 offer comes in for Hopewell 9th grade quarterback James Amstrong. HC Brennan Marion is making the WPIAL a priority as Sacramento State offers Armstrong. Last week, ‘Boo Boo’ received his first D-1 offer from Kade Bell and Pitt.

Update (9:00 AM)- 

**On Tuesday, the Pitt staff extended an offer to 2026 wide receiver/defensive back Chris Tangelo from Montgomery Village, Maryland. The 6’4”, 185-pound Tangelo finished last season with 28 catches for 632 yards, 8 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. This becomes the first Power Four offer for Tangelo.

Update (8:40 AM)- 

**Pitt becomes the first Power 4 program to extend an offer to 2026 tight end Javonte Williams from Damascus, Maryland. Williams (6’4”, 215 lbs) received the offer from Jacob Bronowski. This past weekend, Williams was in town for Pitt’s Junior Day.
