Jorge Diaz Graham Making the Most of Junior Season Minutes

Jorge Diaz Graham has started just one game in his college career through three seasons.
The twin brother of regular Pitt starter Guillermo Diaz Graham, Jorge has come off the bench in every game this season, and is averaging just 6.9 minutes per game. However, the Spaniard has made the most of his minutes this year.
Diaz Graham is shooting 63% from the field as a junior so far, and a whopping 62% from three-point range. He has knocked down 16 of his 26 tries from downtown this year, already surpassing his career high of 12 threes that he set as a freshman. He has only attempted six two-point field goals all season. Diaz Graham is also 9 for 10 from the free-throw line.

Since he went 0-2 against Virginia Tech from three, Diaz Graham is 11 for 14 from deep. He finished 4 for 5 from three in Pitt’s loss to Florida State, kickstarting the comeback effort in the second half. He now has three games with multiple threes made.
Diaz Graham and the Panthers will now host Clemson on Saturday at the Petersen Events Center.
