In the ACC/SEC Challenge, Pitt Vs. Texas A&M will take place at Pitt's Petersen Events Center on Dec. 2, as first reported by CBS.

Pitt basketball’s 6-foot-4 center Khadija Faye turned in one of the best all-around performances of the season against North Carolina.

In the loss to the Tar Heels, Faye played 34 minutes. She went 6 for 14 from the field, and 5 for 8 from the free-throw line. Faye grabbed ten rebounds, four of them coming offensively and six on the defensive glass. Perhaps most impressively, Faye blocked eight shots.

Check out her final stat line:

17 points, 10 rebounds, 8 blocks, 5 turnovers, 4 fouls, 1 assist.

See her highlights below.

Faye is now averaging 18.1 points and 9.5 rebounds per game for the Panthers. She is the fourth-highest scoring player in the ACC, behind Ta’Niya Latson, Hannah Hidalgo, and Nya Robertson. She is fifth in the league in rebounding, behind Jessica Peterson, Liatu King, Makayla Timpson, and Alyssa Ustby. Faye is ranked 11th in field goal percentage and 2nd in blocks per game.

Faye, a Dakar, Senegal native, began her career at Texas Tech. She spent two seasons in Lubbock, starting 24 games. She then transferred to Texas to play for the Longhorns for two seasons. There, she averaged five points per game in both seasons.

Now at Pitt, Faye has exploded onto the scene as a star big in the ACC. After coming to Pitt with a career-high average of 6.4 points per game as a sophomore, Faye has nearly tripled her best season’s scoring production already.

Faye is approaching the 1,000-point mark, with 928 points in her career. She has grabbed 666 rebounds in her collegiate career, too, and has blocked 145 shots.

Pitt’s next game comes on Thursday at 6 p.m. against Virginia Tech at home.
