The selection committee included Bill Connelly, David Hale, Chris Low, Max Olson, Adam Rittenberg and Paolo Uggetti.
Louis ranked No. 86 on the list. It comes after the East Orange, N.J. native became the 100th Pitt First Team All-American and garnered a First Team All-ACC nod.
As a redshirt sophomore, the 6-foot, 225-pounder showcased his versatility as he collected 105 tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss, seven sacks, 27 pressures, nine quarterback hurries, four interceptions and a forced fumble.
Per Hale, Louis and Utah’s Devin Lloyd are the only two defenders in the past 10 years to rack up 100 tackles, 4 interceptions and 7 sacks in the same season.
Reid checked in at No. 94 on the ESPN top 100 list. After transferring to Pitt from Western Carolina, the Miami Gardens, Fla. native displayed his big-play ability and electricity on offense.
The 5-8 junior earned Second Team All-American all-purpose honors from the Associated Press, CBS Sports, FWAA and The Athletic. He was also named a First Team All-ACC all-purpose and return specialist honors.
Reid tied for the fifth-most all-purpose yards per game with 154.91. On the ground, Reid totaled 184 carries for 966 yards and five touchdowns. He added 570 receiving yards and four touchdowns, along with 159 punt return yards and a score.
He is one of two FBS players in the last 20 years with a 900/500/150 yardage split and a touchdown in each category in the same season, joining Clemson’s C.J. Spiller, according to Hale
Both Reid and Louis are set to return for the Panthers in 2025 as the two look to build on their exceptional seasons.
