We’ve got a loaded weekend of college basketball action in the Pittsburgh area.

Pitt, Duquesne, and Robert Morris’ men’s teams are all in action, with the Panthers and Colonials tipping off on Saturday and the Dukes playing on Sunday.

Pitt Vs. Syracuse will tip off at 12:30 p.m. from the JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse, New York. The game will be televised on ESPN2.

Pitt is currently on a four-game losing streak, and is looking to break through with a road win over the Orange on Saturday.  The Panthers are 6.5-point favorites over the Orange, according to Fanduel.

“We just had a very honest conversation with each other,” guard Ishmael Leggett said about the team’s recent players-only meeting. “What we needed to do to go forward, what needed to change. Yeah, it was needed. We just put everything on the table and we wanted to just hold each other accountable. The things we said in the meeting, obviously, I’m not going to go super into detail about it, but we laid everything out, and we’re going to hold each other accountable on those things.”

The Colonials are currently 14-7 and 6-4 in Horizon League play this year. Now, the Colonials have one of their biggest games since joining the league in front of them. On Saturday, RMU will host Oakland at 2 p.m. at the UPMC Events Center.

DUQUESNE – NET No. 152

The Dukes dropped a tough one to Dayton earlier this week, but will have a chance to bounce back on Sunday against Fordham. The Dukes will leave for New York on Saturday for Sunday’s game, that will take place at 12 p.m.
