Pittsburgh Native Tino Sunseri Supplies WPIAL With UCLA Offers

When Pittsburgh native and former Pitt football quarterback Tino Sunseri took the offensive coordinator job at UCLA in December, there was no doubt that he would plant his recruiting flag back in Western Pennsylvania where it all started.
The Central Catholic graduate targeted a pair of Vikings, along with other WPIAL and City League talent by offering them an opportunity to play out on the West Coast in Los Angeles for the Bruins.
Here’s who Sunseri offered on Friday:
Ashton Blatt — 2026 outside linebacker/edge rusher out of Central Catholic
Blatt — a 6-foot-4, 230-pound prospect — continues to rack up offers left and right as UCLA became the latest Power Four school to do so. He now holds a strong offer sheet of West Virginia, Pitt, Wisconsin, Michigan State, UCLA, Syracuse, Indiana, Duke, Toledo and Eastern Michigan.
The 2026 recruit holds a three-star rating from 247Sports and ranks as the No. 14 player in Pennsylvania and the 29th-best edge rusher in the class.
Jimmy Kalis — 2027 offensive lineman out of Central Catholic
One of the top prospects from the Pittsburgh area in the 2027 cycle picked up another Power Four offer of Friday from UCLA. The 6-foot-6, 280-pounder owns offers from Pitt, West Virginia, Ole Miss, N.C. State, UCLA, Nebraska, Florida State, Syracuse, California, Indiana, Minnesota, Maryland, Duke, Arizona State, Central Michigan, Akron, Miami (OH) and Toledo.
Kyshawn Robinson — 2026 defensive back out of Westinghouse High School
Robinson is one of the most heavily recruited juniors in Western Pennsylvania as he added the UCLA offer to his sheet on Friday. The 5-foot-10, 170-pound recruit boasts a long list of suitors that includes Penn State, Pitt, WVU, Clemson, Oklahoma, TCU, Oregon, UCLA, Washington, USC, Michigan State, Florida, Texas A&M, Kansas, South Carolina, Colorado, Nebraska, Tennessee, Maryland, Florida State, Wisconsin, Louisville, Illinois, Kentucky, Memphis, Houston, Syracuse, N.C. State, Purdue, SMU, Boston College, Cincinnati, Boise State and more.

After missing his entire junior season at Westinghouse, Robinson is set to return for his senior year in the fall as his recruitment continues to unfold. 247Sports rates Robinson as a 90 overall four-star as he slots in as the No. 6 player in the state and 19th safety in the 2026 class.
Reston Lehman — 2026 edge rusher out of Peters Township High School
Another four-star prospect in the Class of 2026 received an offer from Sunseri and UCLA on Friday. Lehman, who stands at 6-foot-4, 230 pounds, has built on offer list of Penn State, Pitt, West Virginia, Maryland, Wisconsin, UCLA, Minnesota, Nebraska, Indiana, Cincinnati, Boston College, Tulane, Ohio, Toledo, Akron, Eastern Michigan, Buffalo, Miami (OH) and Central Michigan.
The fast-rising prospect from McMurray, Pa. is rated as an 81 over four-star by ESPN. The recruiting service places him as the seventh-best player in the state and the No. 14 outside linebacker in the cycle.
Kemon Spell — 2027 running back out of McKeesport High School
While Spell has been committed to James Franklin and Penn State, UCLA swooped in with an offer on Friday, the first for Spell since his verbal pledge in August.
Spell, who stands 5-foot-10, 195 pounds, stood out as a freshman in the WPIAL, leading to several Power Four offers, but ultimately committed early to the Nittany Lions before playing a snap as a junior. On3 ranks Spell as the No. 1 running back in the 2027 class as a 91 four-star prospect.
