Date Set for the Pitt 2025 Blue-Gold Spring Game
The Pitt season opener against Duquesne is just over seven months away, but there’s still one game before the Dukes come to Acrisure Stadium.
While an exact time is yet to be decided (likely 1 or 2 p.m.), the Blue-Gold Spring Game is set for April 12. It’s the final act of the spring season, the last chance for the Panthers to officially hit the field together before fall camp.
It might not be the most impactful game, but it’s still a chance for fans to see what a long spring season looks like on the football field — and there will be plenty of new faces to see come April.
Pitt will begin its spring practice at the beginning of March (or late February at the earliest), and there will be 15 practices that culminate in the spring game. Pat Narduzzi and his coaching staff will have important tasks in deciding key position battles on the offense and defense.
Important battles will take place on the offensive and defensive lines, two areas in which the Panthers struggled in 2024.
The Ed Conway Award, given to the most improved offensive and defensive players throughout the spring, will be awarded on the day of the spring game.
