Update (9:03 AM)-

**It’s been a busy last 48 hours for a rising 2026 recruit. Peters Township 2026 defensive end/tight end Lucas Shanafelt received two new offers on Saturday- one from Liberty and the other from West Virginia, which becomes his 2nd Power 4 offer (Pitt). Also on Friday, Shanafelt received a visit at school from Penn State’s James Franklin and Terry Smith. They didn’t offer but he’s obviously on their radar.

Update (8:44 AM)-

*Pitt’s battle to land Central Catholic 2026 3-star defensive end Ashton Blatt ramped up on Saturday as Blatt received an offer at Junior Day from Penn State. The 6’4”, 230-pounder also holds offers from Duke, Indiana, Michigan State, Syracuse, UCLA, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

Update (8:25 AM)-
**On Saturday at their Junior Day, the Eastern Michigan football program extended offers to a few WPIAL players- Angelo Pugliano/2026 DL from Central Catholic High School, Scoop Smith/2026 DB from Woodland Hills High School and Ziggy Moore/2026 linebacker from Woodland Hills High School.
