2027 WPIAL Lineman Earns Coveted Fourth Star

While this news comes as no surprise, none the less, it is now official.
Central Catholic 2027 offensive tackle Jimmy Kalis is one of the most talented linemen in the country and that was re-affirmed as he received a huge bump in his recruiting profile.
In their latest rating adjustments, Rivals has designated Kalis as a four-star recruit, along with ranking him the No. 19 offensive tackle in the country and the No. 208 overall recruit in the class of 2027.
Kalis’ most recent offer was a pretty big one as he picked one up from Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs.
Georgia joined Power Four programs like Pitt, Arizona State, California, Duke, Florida State, Indiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Ole Miss, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina State, Penn State, Syracuse, UCLA and West Virginia.
Kalis wasn’t the only WPIAL player to get recognized by Rivals.
Penn Hills 2027 athlete Carter Bonner received a three-star ranking and is rated as the No. 10 sophomore prospect in Pennsylvania.
Rivals has also released their 2027 Top 250 prospects, and it includes five players from the WPIAL.
McKeesport running back Kemon Spells (No. 77), Imani Christian defensive back Gabriel Jenkins (No. 133), West Mifflin athlete Armand Hill (No. 137), Seton LaSalle athlete Khalil Taylor (No. 189) and Kalis (No. 208) made the cut.
