Two Athletes Announce Official Visits to Pitt

Football recruits all across the country are beginning to get their plans ready for the summer by scheduling official visits to college programs.

Saturday morning, two players announced their intentions to make a visit to Pitt in June.

Both Blake Hamilton and Demetrice McCray scheduled official visits for the first weekend in June.

Blake Hamilton is a 2026 athlete from Fort Bend Chrisitan High School in Katy, Texas received his offer from wide receivers coach JJ Laster and Pitt on January 17th. Pitt is Hamilton’s lone Power 4 offer.

Hamilton was the top wide receiver at Fort Bend Christian catching 47 passes for 687 yards and 9 touchdowns.

Like Hamilton, McCray is a wide receiver as he attends First Academy High School in Orlando, Florida. Last season, McCray caught 31 passes for 731 yards and 7 TD’s.

McCray received his offer from Pitt on January 21st from Lindsey Lamar.

Along with Pitt, McCray (6’0″, 185-pounds) holds offers from Iowa State, Kansas State Louisville, Ole Miss, Purdue, UConn, South Florida, Tulane, Central Florida, Akron, UNLV, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

McCray and Hamilton have scheduled their visits from June 5-7.
