Recruiting Update on Devin Fitzgerald, Son of Pitt Legend

Being the son of a Hall of Fame player, no doubt comes with plenty of pressure and sometimes unachievable expectations.
That’s certainly going to be the case with Devin Fitzgerald, the son of Larry Fitzgerald, one of the best wide receivers in the history of the NFL.
Ironically, not only is Fitzgerald a Power Four athlete but also plays the same position as his father.
Fitzgerald is a 2026 3-star athlete from Brophy Prep in Phoenix, Arizona and is starting the process of determining where he wants to take his talents after high school.
Fitzgerald is on a roll lately as he’s watched his recruitment pick up over the last couple of months. As things currently stand, Fitzgerald (6-foot-2, 190 pounds) has an offer list that includes Pitt, Arizona, Arizona State, Boston College, California, Central Florida, Duke, Florida State, Iowa State, Kansas State, Minnesota, Vanderbilt, UNLV and UCLA.
Athletes all around the country are scheduling official and unofficial visits and that includes Fitzgerald.
Per a report from Steve Wiltfong from On3 Sports, Fitzgerald will make an upcoming visit to Clemson on March 8. Wiltfong also reported that Fitzgerald is looking to make upcoming trips to Notre Dame, Arizona State, UCLA and Pitt.
Back in June, Fitzgerald received his offer from Pat Narduzzi and Pitt while making an unofficial visit.

Last season at Brophy Prep, Fitzgerald had 52 receptions for 720 yards (13.8 yards per catch) and nine touchdowns in 13 games.
The big question now is whether or not Fitzgerald would be interested in playing at the same school as his Hall of Fame father or if would he prefer to try and create his own legacy at a different school.
