Report: Pitt Adds Assistant Coach to the Staff

Pat Narduzzi is reportedly adding an assistant coach to his coaching staff for the 2025 season.
Per Football Scoop.com, Pitt has added veteran special teams coach Bobby Dodd to the coaching staff. Dodd with assist Jacob Bronowski on the Pitt special team’s unit.
Dodd had spent the last four seasons with Utah State, two as the senior special team’s analyst and two as the special team’s quality control coach.
Prior to his time with Utah State, Dodd had two stints with the Arkansas State football program serving as special teams’ quality control coach, while also working with the quarterbacks. Dodd has also worked at Lamar serving as tight ends coach in 2018 and as a quality control coach in 2017.
This becomes Dodd’s first opportunity to work with a Power Four program.
Dodd attended high school at John Curtis Christian School in Rivers Ridge, Louisiana and earned a degree from Arkansas State in 2016.
Aside from being in charge of the special teams, Bronowski is also Pitt’s tight ends coach so Dodd will be of assistance there.
