WPIAL Players Selected to 2025 Big 33 Classic Pennsylvania Team

On Friday, the Pennsylvania Football Scholastic Association (PFSCA) announced the 2025 Big 33 Pennsylvania roster that included several top seniors from the WPIAL.

The 68th Big 33 Football Classic will take place on May 25 at Cumberland Valley’s Chapman Field with kickoff at 7:30 pm as Team Pennsylvania takes on the representatives from Maryland.

Often known as “The Super Bowl of High School Football,” the Big 33 has featured WPIAL stars that have gone on to long NFL careers with the likes of Joe Montana, Joe Namath, Dan Marino, Curtis Martin, Damar Hamlin, Miles Sanders and others.

Along with the players selected to the Pennsylvania team, Pine-Richland head coach Jon LeDonne will serve as an assistant coach for the showcase.

Daniel Batch — Linebacker from Montour High School (Maine Commit)

Amari Jackson — Cornerback from Beaver Area High School (Villanova Commit)

Darian Nelson — Safety from Plum High School (St. Francis Pa. Commit)

Tasso Whipple — Linebacker from Penn-Trafford High School (IUP Commit)

Parker Cunningham — Offensive Lineman from South Park High School (James Madison Commit)

Justin Schmidt — Long Snapper from Thomas Jefferson High School (Purdue Commit)

Jackson Bojanic-Hubbell — Offensive Lineman from Pine-Richland High School (Cal U Commit)

Christopher Climes — Defensive Tackle from Elizabeth Forward High School (Buffalo Commit)

Shep Turk — Offensive Lineman from Thomas Jefferson High School (Pitt Commit)

Nate Stohl — Offensive Lineman from Upper St. Clair High School (Princeton Commit)
