“Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv has signed the talented guard Jimmy Clark, who joins from Bnei Herzliya on a two-and-a-half-year contract,” the team said in a press release. “Clark, who will turn 24 this April, is a versatile 1.91m (6’3″) combo guard known for his ability to create shots for himself and for his teammates, as well as his defensive instincts for steals.”
Nicknamed “The Pittsburgh Stealer” while at Duquesne, Clark earned Atlantic 10 All-Defensive team honors twice in his collegiate career, and also earned a spot on the 2023-24 All Conference squad.
In his career, Clark spent two years at VCU, one year at Northwest Florida State College (JUCO), and two years at Duquesne. Clark was considered the Dukes’ best defender and was a dynamic scoring option on the offensive end alongside fellow HOFer Dae Dae Grant.
Clark began his pro career with Bnei Herzeliya in Israel, averaging 14.5 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game in 17 contests. Clark shot 46% from the field in his time there, as well as 29% from three-point range.
As a senior at Duquesne, he averaged 13.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game.
