Pitt FB Recruiting
North Allegheny DT Lincoln Hoke Schedules Pitt Official

It sure looks as though Pitt is attempting to make a big splash at the start of June.
For the third consecutive day, a local WPIAL standout has announced their intentions to visit during the first week of June.
North Allegheny 2026 defensive tackle Lincoln Hoke will make his official visit to Pitt during the weekend of June 5-7.

Prior to Hoke’s announcement, Peters Township 4-star linebacker Reston Lehman and his teammate Lucas Shanafelt both announced that they’d also be officially visiting Pat Narduzzi’s program from June 5-7.
Slowly but surely, Hoke’s recruitment is gaining steam as yesterday he received another D-1 offer and his list now includes Kent State, Toledo, Princeton, Delaware, Akron, New Mexico and Penn.
Hoke and Pitt defensive line coach Tim Daoust, the person that offered Hoke, have formed a solid relationship and it would appear as though Hoke is a heavy lean towards staying home and committing to Pitt.
I would imagine the recruiting plan for Pitt is get a quick WPIAL commitment and hope that it leads to a wave of others following and doing the same.
The WPIAL’s Class of 2026 has a handful of defensive players that Pitt would love to get a commitment from. Along with Hoke, others include Lehman, Central Catholic 3-star defensive end Ashton Blatt, Central Catholic 3-star linebacker Aaron Gatten, Imani Christian 3-star defensive back David Davis, Pine-Richland 3-star defensive back Jay Timmons and Westinghouse 3-star defensive back Kyshawn Robinson.
