Pitt’s loss to Notre Dame over the weekend sure wasn’t the ideal way to start off the last five games of the season.

The loss dropped Pitt’s record down to 16-11 overall and 7-9 in ACC play. While the Panthers’ chances at an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament seem to be quite miniscule at this point, the team still has an opportunity to make a run in the ACC Tournament in Charlotte soon.

Before that, the Panthers still have four more opportunities to get to 20 wins for the third-straight season in the regular season. Let’s check out Pitt’s chances at winning those next four games.

PITT VS. GEORGIA TECH – 2/25

Ken Pomeroy’s system on kenpom.com projects Pitt to win this game, 78-68. Expect a spread that favors the Panthers. Georgia Tech owns the same record as Pitt in league play, sitting at 7-9. Prior to their recent loss to Boston College, the Yellow Jackets had won two-straight games, beating Stanford and California.

PITT @ LOUISVILLE – 3/1

Pomeroy’s system projects Pitt to lose this contest against the red-hot Cardinals, 80-72. Expect Vegas to favor Pat Kelsey’s squad here. Louisville is tied for second in the ACC. The Cardinals have won 14 of their last 15 games.

PITT @ NC STATE – 3/5

Pomeroy predicts that the Panthers will win this game, 73-70. Expect a tight spread for this one. The Wolfpack have crashed hard after last year’s Final Four run. This year, they are just 11-16 overall and have lost ten of their last 12 games. The two wins came over Boston College and Wake Forest.

PITT VS. BOSTON COLLEGE – 3/8

Pomeroy’s system predicts that Pitt will beat Boston College, 79-65. Pitt should be heavily favored in this matchup, and though the lines are not yet out, keep checking the best sports betting apps in Massachusetts for one last chance to pick the Panthers. BC owns a rough 4-12 record in ACC play, however, the Eagles have won two in a row, beating Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech.
