**Pitt has extended an offer today to 2026 running back SirPaul Cheeks from Richmond, Virginia. Cheeks was a 1st Team All-State selection. This becomes the first Power Four offer for Cheeks.

**This morning, Woodland Hills 2026 athlete Scoop Smith received his latest D-1 offer from Kent State. Smith is building a nice offer list that currently includes Akron, Buffalo, UMass, Robert Morris, Sacramento State, Temple, Toledo and UNLV.

**Some recruiting news concerning North Allegheny 2026 DT Lincoln Hoke. On Sunday, Hoke received a new D-1 offer, which came from Buffalo. Hoke also announced that he will be making a spring visit to check out Penn State on April 5th.

Jones (6’6″, 280-pounds) announced that his upcoming visits will include: West Virginia (March 8th), Georgia (March 15th), North Carolina (March 22nd), Clemson (March 29th), South Carolina (April 5th), Pitt (April 12th) and Maryland (April 19th). Currently, Jones holds offers from Delaware, Duke, East Carolina, Liberty, NC State, Old Dominion, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and William & Mary.

**Pitt assistant Jacob Bronowski continues his aggressive recruitment in the state of Texas. On Sunday, Bronowski extended an offer to 2026 defensive end Bryson Castile from Bowie High School in Arlington, Texas. Other programs that have offered this 6’3″, 200-pound outside linebacker include Bowling Green, Louisiana Tech, Nevada, North Texas, San Diego State, Texas State, UNLV, UTEP, Tulsa and Houston.
