Twitter Reaction to Pitt’s Loss to Georgia Tech

On Tuesday night, Pitt fell to Georgia Tech at home, 73-67.
The Panthers made just four of their last 18 shot attempts in the final 12 minutes. They then went 2-12 in the final five minutes, and missed all six shot attempts in the final minute.
Check out the fan reaction from the loss.
I took being 12-2 for granted, I thought this team would keep soaring in the ACC
I want to win with Jeff Capel at HC, this is a sad year 😢

All of my mentions right now are just Pitt fans begging to be eliminated ðŸ˜
Pitt falls at home to Georgia Tech and their at-large chances are on life support. Panthers will be eliminated with ANY loss between now and ACC Tournament semifinals (ACC finals if path doesn’t include… https://t.co/eFAibp6QU8 pic.twitter.com/Tg4tVPHKId

Pitt’s tournament chances are officially over after losing at home to Georgia Tech tonight. A really disappointing second half of the year for the Panthers, who had talent on paper and were looking to get back to the tournament after barely missing last year.

Georgia Tech became the team in the 2nd half of the season, that if it were Pitt or Wake Forest would have sent those two to the NCAAs.
Jackets Get their 3rd Q1 win of Feb.
Don’t say there aren’t Q1 opportunities in the ACC.Damon Stoudamire might be ACC coach of the month.

Pitt falls at home to Georgia Tech. That pretty much erases any remaining hopes of an at-large bid for the Panthers.

Georgia tech made ONE FG in the last 10 minutes of the game and won by two possessions over a team that I think said they were too good? to play in the NIT last season? Do I have that right? Oh and it was a home game for Pitt. I wonder if the NIT invites them to play this year

What happened to Pitt? Now 7-10 in the ACC. Horrendous shooting in the last minute at home against Georgia Tech including a blown layup.
